2019 Martin D-28 Tottenham
This as-new Martin D-28 was the grand prize of this year's Tottenham Bluegrass Festival fundraising raffle. It features "Tottenham 2019' inlaid in pearl at the body joint, but is otherwise a standard-issue D-28. The fellow who was the lucky winner of the guitar already owns a D-28 just like this one, and has consigned the guitar with us as he doesn't need two of them (but doesn't everyone need two D-28s?!)
The instrument is in mint / unused condition apart from the extra inlays. It has been set-up here at Folkway and plays perfectly, with a medium action and medium strings.
Rosewood and spruce body with forward shifted non-scalloped bracing, gloss lacquer finish and bevelled tortoise pickguard. Ebony board and bridge, 1-3/4” nut width, Performing Artist neck taper, and modified oval carve.
With original Martin hardshell case
