2014 Martin CEO-7
Martin's CEO-7 features an L-00 shaped body, a red spruce top, mahogany back and sides, scalloped braces, and a hand-fit dovetailed neck joint. Designed to harken the spirit of a 1930's L-00 while blending in an equal amount of Martin tone and feel, the CEO-7 really is a special-sounding instrument. It's unique among Martins in that it brings some vintage Gibson tonality into the equation, but is still very much a Martin. There's something about the curvy L-00 shape that brings Gibson-like mid-range into the Martin equation. It's an amazingly balanced, rounded and full sounding instrument. We all love it here.
Ebony fingerboard and small rectangle bridge, bone nut and saddle, short-scale neck and 1-3/4” nut. Soft-V neck carve with a nice wide vintage style string spread of 2-5/16” at the bridge.
