A modern classic steeped in tradition, Collings' 12-fret 000 draws heavily on 1930s guitar design while employing twenty-first century building techniques and quality control that is second to none. The end result is a vintage-voiced precision instrument with flawless fit and finish.

A 12-fret 000 offers the thick midrange and rounded trebles of a small-bodied instrument, while delivering the rich low end response and power that one expects from a larger guitar. The positioning of the bridge in the center of the top adds a magic and big-room fullness to every note, and the small pyramid bridge ensures that the guitar's top is allowed to vibrate as much as possible. All of this culminates in a beautifully balanced instrument that responds well to everything from light and dynamic fingerstyle playing to a heavy right hand attack with a flat pick.

Honduran mahogany back and sides, Sitka spruce top, scalloped bracing with pre-war positioning, tortoise celluloid bindings, ebony fingerboard and bridge, ebony headstock overlay, bone nut and saddle, gloss lacquer finish, and nickel Waverly tuning machines. Custom 1-13/16" nut width, modified V neck carve, 25.5" scale.

We ship within Canada with various couriers and Canada Post. We’ll choose the shipping method that best suits your order and destination.

We typically ship instruments on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, depending on the destination, to help reduce time in transit and avoid unnecessary weekend warehouse delays. Shipping times are not guaranteed.

For credit card payments, we can only ship to the billing address associated with the card. If you need to ship to a different address, please contact us to discuss alternate payment options. Orders paid by bank wire or eTransfer can be shipped to an alternative address.

All instruments ship fully insured and must be packed in a hard or semi-hard case.

Most orders will require a signature upon delivery. If you prefer, you may request delivery without a signature; however, Folkway Music is not responsible for loss or theft once the package has been delivered without a signature. You may also request to have your package held for pickup at a local carrier access point.
