Among the most exciting offerings from Fender's Custom Shop that we have seen in recent memory, this Jazzmaster relic is a fantastic reimagining of a vintage Jazz that never truly existed. Debuting in 1958, the Jazzmaster was the first Fender guitar model to feature a rosewood fingerboard. As such, a one-piece maple neck Jazzmaster was never a catalogue option in the Pre-CBS era. Enter this Custom Shop version (to great applause).

This 2023 Custom Shop LTD Custom Jazzmaster Relic is in like-new condition, with unworn frets and no cosmetic wear outside of the relicing done by the Fender team. While this guitar's original floor traveller refers to the finish as "55 Desert Tan," the finish presents much like faded Sonic Blue. The silver anodized pickguard over the light blue finish is an incredibly cool combination, making for a Jazzmaster that is both handsome and unique.

Equipped with a set of Hand Wound Jazzmaster flat magnet pickups, this guitar delivers vintage-voiced tones that offer all of the rich midrange support and note definition that Jazzmasters are famous for with a touch of added sparkle from the maple board. The "57 Strat" V neck carve is quite comfortable, and the guitar plays perfectly with "medium vintage" fret wire.

Pickup DC values of 7.6k in both the bridge and neck. Scale length of 25.5". First fret depth of 0.884", twelfth fret depth of 0.996". Nut width of 1-5/8". Weight of 8lbs 6oz.
