Martin 000-16E

Martin's redesigned 16 series guitars feature back and sides of Granadillo and a spruce top, a gloss finish, scalloped bracing, and ebony fingerboard and bridge. They are much more resonant and lively guitars than their predecessors, and like their more expensive standard-series siblings, feature attractive vintage-style appointments and high performance taper necks.

The Martin 000-16E is an all-around powerhouse and a contender for top honours in its price point. Exceptionally versatile, it's a guitar that's an equally capable strummer as fingerpicker as flatpicker. And its Fishman Matrix VT Enhance pickup offers incomparable plugged in tone.

High Performance taper neck with a modified low oval carve, 1-3/4” nut width and 24.9 scale. Old-style headstock logo, open-geared tuners, and bone nut. The body has parchment-colored binings with b-w-b top purflings, a herringbone-meets-style-18 rosette, and a tortoise-celluoid pickguard.
