1937 National Trojan

Serial # B3191. Surely one of the coolest looking Nationals out there, this late 1930's Trojan is a far cry from the earlier (and way less cool) models. This nearly-mint example features an original faux-rosewood wood-grained paint finish, white celluloid fingerboard and body finish, and engraved plastic headstock overlay. And then there's that pickguard... Lets just look at that once again! Original pickguards are so uncommon on Nationals, and this one is in perfect condition! We're all worked up about this guitar, can you tell?!

The guitar is in exceptional condition and completely original but for new frets that we've installed. The neck was recently reset as well, and this Trojan plays beautifully all the way up the fingerboard. We've set it up with a flat-top acoustic action, and the guitar is as easy to play as your average new Martin. Original cone and biscuit, tuners, finish, and tailpiece.

Pronounced V carved neck with original 1-3/4' nut, 25' scale, and 12' fingerboard radius. 14' wide body with 3.5' depth, F holes, and standard size cone and coverplate. 14-fret to the body neck joint.

The guitar sounds wonderful ' woody, poppy, warm, and.. well, resonant. It's a blast to play, and doesn't fight you back in the least.

A rare gem.

With original case.
