1925 Gibson TB5 / 1970's Tenor Banjo
An excellent sounding and playing 1970's Japanese archtop tenor banjo fitted with an original 1925 Gibson TB-5 neck and vintage Oettinger Pat-pend tailpiece. 17 frets, shorter 20.5” scale, Irish tenor setup with flatwound Thomastic strings. Original frets are in excellent condition, and the banjo plays very well with easy angle and perfect neck angle. Richelieu pick holder, 40 hole archtop tone ring, tube and plate flange, and modern planetary tuners.
