1974 Martin D-35

An exceptionally clean early 1970s Martin D-35 with original finish that shows nearly no age or playwear. It’s a bold and powerful guitar – surprisingly so, really – and significantly better sounding than most 70’s Martin Dreadnoughts you’re likely to encounter.

Recent neck reset and refret, along with new bone nut and saddle. An outside-margin pickguard crack was also repaired recently, and the pickguard replaced. The tuners are modern Grover Rotomatics. Original bridge and bridge plate are unmodified and in excellent condition, all braces are in perfect shape with no previous regluing evident.

1-11/16” nutwidth, 25.4” scale, 2-1/8” string spread at the saddle. Full-feeling rounded neck carve. Action set at 5-6 64ths.
