Rickard Maple Ridge 11"

An exceptional sounding frailling banjo, the Rickard Maple Ridge features a 3-piece maple neck with scooped ebony board, tapered 3/8” maple rim, and Dobson tone ring. It has a wonderfully rich, rounded and warm/wet tone that maintains its definition in the bass.

The beauty is in the details with this banjo, and a close look at its construction will inspire anyone who's ever pondered craftsmanship in any way. Zoom in on the photos we've provided here and have a look at the subtle chamfering given to the notches of the tension-hoop, the blind slots that the last two frets are seated in, the gorgeous antiqued finish of the brass hardware, and the 10:1 precision tuners.
