2009 Celtic Cross Teardrop Weissenborn
Serial 336. Celtic Cross instruments are hand-built in British Columbia, Canada by luthier Neil Russell. This teardrop Weissenborn copy features a hollow-neck sapele body with maple bindings, wenge fingerboard, and pearl inlays. Satin finish, boxwood bridgepins, bone nut and saddle, and gold tuners are nice finishing touches.
The guitar is a very fine sounding hollowneck, with a rich and deep voice under a slide-bar. No cracks or repairs, and nicely set up.
