1991 Dobro Model 75 'Lily of the Valley'

Serial # W6 253 91 B. Dobro's original Model 75 was branded "Regal" in the late 1930s and originally featured a walnut body. You'll notice that this version of the 75 is slightly different. This particular guitar is an OMI era Dobro, built after the Dopyera family sold the company… but still a few years before the brand was purchased by the current owners, Gibson.

With its Lilly of the Valley hand engraved bell-brass chrome finished body, it takes visual clues from the earlier National style 3 models. The guitar features a National-style cone and biscuit bridge, so is much more akin to a National style 0 14 fret than any prewar Dobro model. Rounded D maple neck with bound ebony fingerboard, nut width of 1-7/8" and scale of 24-3/4". Set-up in shop with a medium action, the guitar is perfect for bottleneck blues as well as fingerstyle playing.

Completely original and in excellent condition.

With hardshell case.
