1959 National Console 8 Steel
Serial # T7214 . A short-lived 8 string model, the Console 8 was offered in the late 1950's as the company's budget 8 string offering. With the same large square pickup as all the other National and Supro steels built in that era, the Console 8 has that familiar National steel sound. There's plenty of body, clarity, and grit when you dig in.
This one is in excellent condition, has a strong and well balanced pickup, and has been setup / cleaned up by us. The tuners are new versions of the originals with aged buttons.
Complete with original case, screw-in legs, and Manoloff slide bar, this 8 string steel is a lovely package.
