Hofner Jazzica Special
The Jazzica Special features a 16” tapered cut-away body with figured maple back and sides and a solid spruce top. Stylized F-holes, bevelled pickguard, and a muted pearloid inlay strip around the top add an Art Nouveau look to the guitar. Ebony bridge and fingerboard, Hofner/Schaller floating pickguard, and gold hardware finish the guitar tastefully.
A particularly enjoyable guitar to play, the tapered body is remarkably comfortable, and the round neck carve is both fast and supportive. The tone is very warm and full, with a touch of brightness added by the tapered body's reduced air cavity.
The guitar is in excellent condition and well set up. There appears to have been a different tailpiece on the guitar at some point, but the original is now reinstalled.
