2017 Collings OM2H Custom
This Collings OM2H was custom ordered with a torrefied Sitka top and a 1-3/4 nut width. Otherwise a standard model OM2H, it's interesting to experience the pronounced difference in tone imparted by the torrefied top wood. The guitar has a dryer, and more mature voice than a standard model; and, while not as complex, dark, and deep as an OM2H Traditional, the guitar gets high marks for its aged and open voice.
Indian rosewood back and sides, ivoroid bindings with herringbone purfling and a zigzag backstrip. Scalloped braces, gloss finish, bevelled tortoise pickguard, Waverly tuners.
The guitar is in nearly new condition with perfect finish and set-up and only a touch of light fretwear in the first position.
