2016 Lowden WL-35

The Wee Lowden (the WL in the model name) is the smallest body size offered by Lowden guitars. The guitar measures a scant 13-3/16” at its widest point but manages to offer up a very surprising bass response, lots of volume, and excellent string to string balance. Beyond that, the fan-fretted fingerboard makes for a relaxed and comfortable left hand position; and combined with the diminutive body, the guitar is among the most ergonomically spot-on instruments you might ever play.

Built with masterful craftsmanship and the highest quality tonewoods available, this Lowden is a thing of sheer beauty. Sinker redwood top and AAA Indian rosewood back and sides bound with figured maple, abalone pearl rosette, bound ebony fingerboard, 5 piece mahogany and rosewood neck with front and back ebony overlays. Gold Gotoh 510 tuning machines with ebony buttons; satin lacquer finish.

The WL-35 is in ‘As-new’ condition. There is no playwear evident anywhere, and the guitar has enjoyed a fresh set-up in our repair shop.

With original Hiscox case
