2014 Taylor 814ce
A very gently used 2014 Taylor 814ce. This is an X-braced version of this model, with the advancements in bracing and finish that Andy Powers introduced at the start of his tenure at Taylor. Thin 3.5 mil finish, asymmetrical back bracing, wooden purflings, pickguard and rosette, and Expression 2 pickup system.
Indian rosewood and Sitka spruce, light bracing, ebony fingerboard and bridge.25.5” scale, 1-3/4” nut width.
The guitar is in excellent condition and has just received a fresh set-up here at Folkway. It's a local guitar and was originally purchased new at the store. Excellent tone, with a voice that's nicely opened up over its few years of life.
