2013 Fender Kingman V RF

Designed by Ren Ferguson when he was heading up Fender's Acoustic division, the Kingman V RF was built in by Fender's Acoustic Custom Shop in New Hartford CT, otherwise known as Guild. Fender sold off its Guild brand to Cordoba Music Group shortly thereafter, and Ren followed suit.

This Kingman V RF is one of a numbered run of 25 instruments. It's label reads that it's the first of the lot, and it's original MSRP was $5500 USD in 2013. The guitar features a Dreadnought body of Honduran rosewood and Engelmann spruce that's bound in figured maple and finished with a sunburst lacquer. The neck is figured maple with an ebony board and has a Stratocaster headstock complete with double string trees. X bracing under the hood, and a Fishman Matrix Infinty pickup.

The guitar is in mint condition and appears unplayed. Set-up recently here at Folkway it's ready for its first use. In the case is the guitar's COA, and Fender acoustic Cruise Tools, among a few other things.
