2012 Bourgeois Ray Lamontagne Signature Model
Dana Bourgeois and Ray Lamontagne worked together to design and build a limited run of 33 Bourgeois mahogany Dreadnoughts in 2012. The guitar features a scallop-braced Sitka spruce top, herringbone purflings, ivoroid bindings, ebony fingerboard and bridge, and hide-glue construction.
The neck has a low rounded feel with a 1-23/32” nut width and a string spread at the bridge of just about 2-1/4”. The fingerboard inlays are unique to this model and quite tastefully designed. Ziricote headstock overlay with pearl logo, nickel Waverly tuners, bone nut, saddle, and bridge pins.
A very lightly built guitar, it offers a lot of warmth, sensitivity, and roundness in the trebles. A darker-voiced mahogany Dreadnought that is a perfect choice for vocal accompaniment or flat-picking with a medium attack.
In excellent condition, the guitar shows just light fretwear under the B string and nearly-new looking finish.
With original hardshell case
