2011 Michael Greenfield GF

Michael Greenfield has established himself as one of the world's preeminent fingerstyle guitar builders. His instruments are voiced for clarity, balance, power, responsiveness, and accuracy, and they can handle a professional's attack with ease. His workmanship is top-tier, his tonewoods are carefully chosen and aged, and his fretwork and setup are precise. At first play, you'll notice the guitar's perfect string to string balance and pure, clean tone. The fundamental is very strong and focused, and the guitar's clear voice allows for the most intricate of melodic work to remain full while not colored by excessive overtones.

Spruce and Indian rosewood body with Greenfield's unique take on traditional X bracing. Bound in ebony, with carefully mitered purflings, and finished in a glass-perfect gloss lacquer. Blank fingerboard, ebony bridge, wide compensated saddle, and gold Gotoh 510 tuning machines. 1-3/4” bone nut, 2-3/16” saddle, 25.6” scale.

The guitar is in excellent condition, and is fitted with a K&K Trinity Solo pickup system for the best in amplified tone. There are some fingernail marks on the top where a pickguard would naturally have been placed and a few other very minor dings on the top. Back and sides are clean, and the frets show almost no wear. Set-up is excellent.
