2009 Collings C10 ESSSB

A unique guitar, this Collings C-10 features a sunburst top of Engelmann spruce, short scale neck with 1-3/4” nut and 2-1/4” string spread at the bridge, a through-cut belly bridge and squared headstock.  It’s a wonderful sounding guitar, and we’re big fans of the short scale neck and Engelmann spruce upgrade on the C10 design.  The guitar has a strong and focused midrange not unlike a good mid 1930’s L-00, but with better clarity and a broader dynamic range.  It’s equally well suited to fingerstyle or single-note flatpicking, and it feels great doing it thanks to the medium-depth round neck and the extra right hand room the 2-1/4” pin spacing affords.

The guitar is in showroom new condition, without scratches or any fretwear.  Set-up in our shop with 12-53 strings and an action of 4-6 64ths.

Ebony headstock overlay, fingerboard, and bridge, ivoroid bindings and rosette, nickel Waverly tuning machines, bone nut and saddle, and gloss finish throughout.

With original hardshell case.
