2007 Larrivée LV-10 Custom
Serial # 98300. With its abalone pearl top border and rosette, bear-claw Sitka spruce top, and stunning Madagascar rosewood back and sides, this is one absolutely gorgeous Larrivée. It was custom built in Larrivée's 40th year of guitar building, and features the company's 40th Anniversary label and original JCL headstock inlay, in pearl.
The guitar's original owner worked closely with Matthew Larrivée in designing this instrument. It was built as a trade for a very early and collectable Larrivée Dreadnought, and Larrivée pulled all the stops in making sure the trade was of fair value.
The guitar is in beautiful condition and is free of cracks or repairs. There are a few minor dings on the instrument's body and headstock, but essentially no playwear. The frets show just faint wear marks in the first position.
Ivoroid-bound ebony fingerboard with pearl dot makers, bone nut and saddle, ebony bridge pins, and chrome Schaller tuning machines. 1-3/4" nut width, 25.5" scale. Larrivée L body with soft Venetian cut-away. Mitered purflings throughout, with rosewood bindings.
With original hardshell case and all documents.
