2007 Bourgeois Vintage D

A masterfully built Dreadnought, this Bourgeois Vintage D features a gorgeous Red Spruce top, and spectacularly figured rosewood back and sides. It's a tremendously loud and robust guitar, with very light scalloped bracing, and vintage forward-X placement.

An inspiring guitar, the tone is thick and meaty, and the response wide and dynamic. Bourgeois guitars are built to offer excellent tone at any attack strength, and this guitar certainly delivers. While it's at its best under strong flat-picking, the guitar offers surprisingly full tone with a lighter attack as well -- which is something we don't often find in Dreadnoughts.

The guitar is in excellent condition, 100% original, and perfectly set-up. There are a few minor dings on the headstock and top, but nothing to write home about.

25.5" scale neck with C carve and 1-23/32" nut width. 2-1/4" string spread at the bridge. Waverly tuning machines, bone nut, saddle, and pins, hand-bevelled tortoise-celluloid pickguard, gloss finish.
