2005 Ramirez SP
The SP is a newer Ramirez model, designed to offer the Semi-Professional exceptional tone and Ramirez build quality at a price lower than the 1a models. The SP features traditional bracing, a European spruce top, Indian rosewood back and sides, thin lacquer finish, finely mitred purflings, and a rosette designed by Amelia Ramirez. 52mm nut, 650mm scale.
The guitar sounds exceptional, with the power, presence and clarity of a spruce topped professional instrument, and with a cedar-like warmth underlying the tone.
In very fine condition, the guitar has no cracks or repairs, and is completely original. There is minor fingernail wear in the usual area, and a few small scratches behind the bridge's tie-block. Fretboard and neck are unworn, and the guitar has a concert set-up with normal tension strings.
