Jean Larrivée, a lefty guitarist himself, has long been a supporter of other left-handed musicians. From early on, Larrivee guitars waived the upcharge other companies added for lefty configuration, and even before the internet era left-handed Larrivée guitars could be found locally.
This Lefty D-03RE is a finely built dreadnought, made of gorgeous Indian rosewood and a high-grade Sitka spruce top. The body is bound in maple and features a traditional three-ring rosette and tortoise-plastic pickguard. Ivoroid-bound ebony fingerboard, ebony bridge and headstock overlay. Satin finish throughout.
The guitar is in very fine condition and has been set-up by our lefty repair-person, so you can be assured that it plays beautifully. No cracks, damage, or repairs; very light fretwear, and not any significant wear to the finish apart from one deepish ½" scratch on the guitar's top. Apart from a bone replacement nut, the guitar is completely original, including its LR Baggs onboard Element pickup system
25.5" scale, 1-3/4" nut width. D-carved neck.
