2004 Avalon L12C

Serial # L-000454. Avalon guitars are built in Northern Ireland, in the original Lowden factory. Very similar in design and built to Lowden guitars, Avalon offers players another option from the Northern Ireland school of builders.

16-3/8" wide body of South American mahogany and sitka spruce with a depth of nearly 5" at the endpin tapering to 4-1/8" at the neck joint. Rounded cut-away and flush neck heel; rosewood bindings, and pearl soundhole rosette.

Ebony fingerboard and bridge, bone nut and saddles, and gold Gotoh 510 tuning machines. Round neck carve with a nut width of 1-3/4" and a scale of 25.5".

The guitar is in excellent condition, and shows very little sign of its previous ownership. Frets are unworn, and the original satin finish has not been glossed-up from us, except on the back of the neck. Set-up by us, LR Baggs Lyric pickup professional installed.

With original Hiscox hardshell case.
