1992 Marc Beneteau

Serial # 250992. A unique guitar in its design and tone, this Marc Beneteau features a deep-body, 15.25" width across the lower bout, and 25.5" scale. With its light build, Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides, the guitar is a little bit Gibson-like in its midrange punch and woodiness, but still has plenty luthier-built articulation and clarity in its tone. It's a very fine sounding guitar, and quite tonally rewarding.

Rosewood-bound body, rosewood fingerboard and bridge; bone nut and saddle, clear pickguard, gold Gotoh tuning machines. Nicely rounded neck profile with 1-11/16" nutwidth and a pin spacing at the bridge of 2-3/32".

No cracks, damage, or repairs. There is light playwear by the soundhole, and a few small dings here and there. No excessive wear anywhere, and the frets appear to have been dressed somewhat recently. The guitar has been set-up nicely and plays comfortably with an easy fingerstyle action.
