2012 Martin SWOMGT
Serial # 1599791. The Sustainable Wood OM is built with woods harvested from forests managed under sustainable forestry practices. The body is constructed with cherry back and sides, a Sitka spruce top, and features tortoise-celluloid bindings, rosette, and back-strip. The neck is carved of cherry, and is fitted with a Katalox fingerboard. Katalox is a very dense central-American wood species, and a good substitute for ebony. Tortoise-celluloid headstock overlay, gold tuners, and a tortoise pickguard finish things off tastefully.
The SWOMGT features Martin's A-Frame scalloped X bracing, a 1-3/4" nut width, 2-1/4" bridge pin spacing and 25.4" scale. It's a fine fingerstyle OM, with a clear and warm voice.
