1925 Ludwig Kingston Tenor Banjo

Ludwig's Kingston Tenor banjo featured a two piece walnut neck with bound ebony 19 fret fingerboard, 23" scale, 'High Pressure Metal Shell' with top tensioning design, 11" head, nickel-plated parts and laminate walnut resonator. Pearloid inlays. The model was billed as a Professional instrument, and retailed for $75 back in 1930.

This example is in lovely condition and is nicely set up. It's original but for replaced tuners and a Weather-King head. There is some fretwear evident, but the lie of the fingerboard is true and the instrument plays easily and cleanly up the neck.

With original hardshell case.
