1980 Guild D-40C Lefty
Serial # DG100396. A first year Guild D-40 Cut-away with solid Mahogany back and sides, spruce top, rosewood board and bridge, and Florentine cut-away. Rare to find a cut-away model in left-handed, particularly in such great condition.
The guitar plays very nicely, with unworn original frets, upgraded bone nut and saddle, and a good neck angle. Its only flaw is a repaired crack along the treble edge of the fingerboard at the pickguard's margin. No other cracks, repairs or changed parts. Original finish throughout, and not much playwear.
Round neck carve with 1-11/16" nut, 25.5" scale.
