1966 Harmony H-70 Meteor Lefty

Lefties on the hunt for vintage tone without the sky-high pricing most lefty electrics are seeing these days will surely appreciate this mid 1960's Harmony H-70 Meteor. Take it from the lefty writing this description -- it's a knock-out.

The Meteor is one of the few models Harmony offered in left-handed configuration back in the day. They built some one-pickup Stratotones and a handful of Rockets as well, but the Meteor is the model that shows up most often on the vintage circuit. 'Often' is a relative term, of course, and it's been a real long time since we've seen another lefty on the market.

This example is in beautiful condition, and has been hot-rodded with a TonePros bridge and nicely fitted rosewood base. We've installed a new bone nut, and have dressed the frets as well. The guitar is set-up just perfectly, and plays exactly as you'd want it to. We've strung it with 11-49s, with a plain G.

Rounded D shaped neck with 1-11/16" nut width, 24" scale. Two adjustable pole DeArmond "Double Moustache" pickups, multi-ply tortoise pickguard, cream plastic knobs, 3 way switching, trapeze tailpiece, and three-on-a-strip tuning machines.
