2013 Gibson Custom Shop '59 Flying V
Serial # 932234. Built in very limited numbers, the Mahogany bodied '59 Flying V offers players a more affordable version of the company's costly '59 Korina V. The guitar features a lightweight mahogany body and neck, Indian rosewood fingerboard, custom PAF humbuckers, and classic Flying V appointments and controls.
Round and fat 1959 neck carve, gold hardware, white 4-ply pickguard and jack plate, 50's style Tune-O-Matic bridge (without retaining wire), vintage switch tip, single-ring Kluson tuners, ink-stamped serial number, and rubber anti-slip pad recessed into the treble side. Gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish, Chromed Gibson headstock logo.
The guitar is in almost mint condition. The frets are unworn, finish is blemish free but for one small chip on the edge of neck's heel by the strap button. Set-up by us, so it plays perfectly, too.
All original hang-tags and Gibson Custom Certificate of Authenticity are in the pocket of the original hardshell case.
