2013 Gibson Custom Shop SJ Banner
One of a limited run of 50 Banner Southern Jumbos Gibson built in 2013 that featured an historically accurate neck carve,hide-glued scalloped braces, and red spruce top. Gibson worked hard on the details of this limited run, aiming to get their recreation as close to the original-issue as they could. Check out the vintage-style Kluson machine heads, Banner logo, rectangular bridge with through-style saddle, and celluloid pickguard. The guitar's lacquer finish looks the part too!
With its classic rounded trebles, forward midrange and bass-end thump, the Custom Shop Southern Jumbo Banner is everything you'd expect in a high-end Wartime reissue. The neck feels just right, with its 1-3/4” nut width and chunky rounded carve.
The guitar is in near-mint condition and is perfectly set up. The only flaws evident are a few minor dings on the top.
With original case, Certificate of Authenticity, and case goodies.
