2003 Gibson ES-137
Serial # 02023720. A particularly attractive sunburst ES-137, complete with figured maple, gold hardware, and gloss lacquer finish. The guitar is in exceptional condition, and has just been carefully set-up in our shop. Frets show very little wear, finish is nearly scratch-free, and there have been no modifications made to the guitar other than changed control knobs (originals are in the case pocket). All told, this one is a knock-out.
The 137 is a 16" single-cut semi-hollow electric, not really dissimilar to the ES-335 in feel and tone, but cosmetically quite a different thing. The guitar features the same wiring, bridge and tailpiece set-up, neck carve and scale, and maple centerblock as a 335. It's single cutaway design, gold hardware, and trapeze inlays set it apart.
490T and 498T pickups, 5-ply bevel-edge pickguard, rounded neck with 24.75" scale and 1-11/16" nut. Gloss lacquer finish, white bindings to the body and fingerboard and Grover tuning machines
With original hardshell case.
