1991 Gibson J-200

Built more than a quarter century ago, this natural-finished J-200 has developed into a remarkably good sounding flat top. The J-200 is famous for being a big guitar that isn't all about the bass. The guitar offers a warm and focused midrange, strong treble response, and a balance across the strings that one might not otherwise suspect. It's a remarkably versatile guitar, and equally well suited to strumming or fingerstyle.

This example is in excellent condition, crack free, and has been well cared for. It's had its tuning machines upgraded to Klusons, a K & K pickup professionally installed, and a compensated bone saddle custom carved. A few nice upgrades to an otherwise pretty much perfect guitar. There are a few minor dings and dents but no playwear of any significance.

Round neck with 1-11/16” nut width, 25.5” scale. Maple back and sides, X braced spruce top, mustache bridge and engraved pickguard. Pearl inlays and logo, bound fingerboard and headstock.

With original hardshell case
