1968 Gibson ES-175D
Serial # 521251. About as nice a late 1960's ES-175D as we've ever come across, this guitar is in gorgeous condition and plays beautifully, thanks to a recent refret and a new bone nut.
16" cutaway archtop with sunburst finish, two humbucking pickups, adjustable rosewood bridge and trapeze tailpiece. Apart from the frets, nut, an added jackplate, and a few of the original fingerboard inlays, the guitar is completely original and unmodified. Pickups and wire harness are original issue, as are the double-ring kluson tuners.
A fast and easy playing guitar, this 175 is as much fun to play as it is good to look at. It has a classic late 1960's neck carve, with a round profile and a nut width of 1-9/16", larger frets, and a24.75" scale. Excellent sounding pickups, with tone that straddles that jazz/blues line really well.
With original hardshell case
