1957 Gibson J-45

The classic mid 1950's J-45, with piles of expression in the lower mids and big round trebles. The guitar is a fabulous strummer, songwriting helper, and all around good-sounding / good looking sunburst Gibson. It's in wonderful shape too, and set-up perfectly.

Spruce and mahogany body with sunburst top, tortoise-celluloid pickguard, and white bindings. No cracks, and excellent neck angle. The guitar once had a soundhole pickup, and there remain nicely filled holes in the top and a cleanly repaired jack hole in the side.

Original finish throughout, with touch-ups in the areas of the hole repairs, replaced tuners and bridge pins. Original nut and frets. Very little in the way of finish wear and tear, and the frets are in excellent shape.

Wonderfully comfortable neck with a round feel, nut width of 1-11/16” and 24-3/4” scale.

With recent hardshell case
