1955 Gibson LG-1
An amazingly clean, small-pickguard LG-1. This guitar might define the term "collector-condition' as it's pretty much without flaws or any repairs. Apart from some scratches and a few dings, light fret and fingerboard wear at the first position, and replaced tuner buttons, it's perfect. No brace repairs, no cracks, no damage or excessive wear; the bridge has never been reglued or altered; the nut, saddle, and frets are original, and the neck angle is fine. Gorgeous original finish throughout.
Set up with 5-6 64thaction, the guitar plays perfectly. Standard mid-50's neck carve with 1-11/16” nut and 24.75” scale.
Ladder-braced, spruce and mahogany body, rosewood fingerboard and bridge. Kluson strip tuners, plastic nut and saddle.
