1948 National 1145 / Gibson L-50

Serial # V14626. Built by Gibson but branded National, the National 1145 most closely resembles a Gibson L-50, but with a cosmetic package that sets it apart from its hometown cousin. 16" single-bound body with carved spruce top, pressed maple back and sides, and brown sunburst finish to all sides. Mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, national headstock shape and shield logo, enclosed National/Kluson tuning machines, no truss rod. Gibson rosewood adjustable bridge, trapeze tailpiece, and ultra-cool clear plexi pickguard. Round and full feeling, late 1940's Gibson neck carve with 1-11/16" nut, 24.75" scale.

Newer tuners and frets, but otherwise 100% original and in excellent condition. Set-up in shop. With hardshell case.
