2014 Collings Eastside LC
Collings' Eastside LC is a full-hollow mid-depth single-cut archtop made for the professional Jazz guitarist. An exceptional sounding instrument, Collings put all of their R+D might behind this model in an effort to create the most acoustically interesting, feedback-resistant, stage-ready Jazz guitar on the market. Built with parallel top bracing and custom configured laminate maple – with layers of wood specifically chosen and oriented to maximize the guitar's acoustic properties – the Eastside LC offers a rounded top-end, impressive sustain, and expressive midrange.
16” Maple body with ivoroid bindings, mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, 12” radius, 1-11/16” nutwidth, and 24-7/8” scale. Custom hand-carved ebony tailpiece, pickguard, and solid-foot bridge; Benedetto humbucking pickup (an aftermarket upgrade), and gloss lacquer tobacco sunburst finish. Beautifully figured maple is highlighted by the guitar's exquisite finish and careful detailing throughout.
The guitar is in excellent condition and is well set-up. There are a few small dings on the headstock's edges, but over-all the guitar has a very clean appearance and playwear is quite minimal.
