2015 Fender Custom Shop '63 Journeyman Relic Tele

We're all smitten with this faded surf-green "63 Journeyman Relic Tele here at Folkway. It's a great looking Fender Telecaster, spec'd out with some pretty incredible sounding pickups, a smart 9.5” radius rosewood fingerboard, and responsive narrow-jumbo fretwire. The aged Nitrocellulose lacquer finish is perfectly crazed and aged without over-worn looks, and the guitar's plastic and metal parts have a low-sheen used-but-not-much vintage vibe.

The guitar appears to be largely unused, with frets that show no wear, and no finish wear beyond the Fender Custom Shop relic work. 7.3 lbs light.

Based on a '63 Tele, the Custom Shop '63 Journeyman Relic features a lightweight alder body with mint green pickguard and vintage-style 3-saddle bridge, a pair of American Vintage '64 Tele pickups with Greasebucket tone circuit, quartered maple and rosewood neck with a mid "60's oval C carve and 1.65” nutwidth, and Kluson tuners.

With original GG case and COA.
