2006 Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Custom Oxblood
Built in Gibson's Nashville Custom Shop and finished in a dark oxblood lacquer, this 2006 Les Paul Custom has some seriously good looks, a great feeling neck, and classic Custom tone. A gorgeous take on the model, the Oxblood finish looks near-black in certain light, and deep wine red at other times. With its gold hardware and white binding it is a striking guitar.
In nearly perfect condition, the guitar shows next to no fretwear or finish wear. The set-up was just completed here at Folkway, and playability is perfect. With their mahogany bodies and generally heavier weight, the Les Paul Customs have a darker tone than a Standard (which has a maple cap), and more sustain. The tone is about as creamy as a Les Paul player could ask for.
Mahogany body and neck, bound ebony fingerboard with pearl inlays, white body bindings with 6 ply purflings on both front and back, bound headstock with pearl Custom inlays and logo. Gold hardware throughout and 5 ply pickguard.
