1973 Fender Stratocaster

Serial # 530144, pots dated to 1973, neck date is fairly hard to read, but looks like '73. A lightweight, ash-bodied, maple-neck Fender Stratocaster. Three-bolt bullet neck, staggered pole black bobbin pickups and tremolo bridge. The guitar is in excellent condition, and completely original but for a professionally rewound bridge pickup. 7.4 Lbs light, very little fretwear, clean finish with uniform crazing. Neck finish shows some playwear, particularly by the body. Frets show light wear, set-up done at Folkway, and the guitar plays very cleanly. Excellent tone, well balanced and lively.

Original factory hang tags and trem arm in the case. The guitar comes with a brown tolex early 1960's Fender case that's had a second layer of velour lining added. The original yellow lining is intact, but in rough shape to match the case's exterior.
