1960 Gibson ES-330T

They don't come better than this, folks. Here's an under-the-bed special 1960 Gibson ES-330T, with rare original Lifton hardshell case in matching condition. The single pickup ES-330T most often was purchased with the brown chipboard cases we all love so dearly, but this guitar was bought with the upgraded brown and pink Lifton – the same case we expect to see with a 1960 ES-335.

The guitar is in flawless original condition. There's not even a strap-button in the neck heel. The guitar's owner used a leather strap that was tied around the headstock, and that strap is still in the case pocket.

Frets and finish are unworn, every part and solder joint is original, the neck angle is excellent, and the early no-spring Tune-O-Matic bridge shows no cupping. Tuner buttons haven't shrunk, pickguard isn't warped, the nut hasn't been off, and the P-90 pickup sounds incredible.

Fully hollow 16” double cut body of laminate maple with white bindings and sunburst top. Mahogany neck with bound rosewood fingerboard and dot inlays, Kluson tuners with white buttons, 24.75” scale, 1-11/16” nut width, 1960 C-shaped neck.

With original Lifton hardshell case and period leather strap
