1959 Fender Musicmaster

Introduced in 1956, the Musicmaster was designed to appeal to beginner players and featured a short 22.5” scale, 1.5” nut width, and a single pickup in the neck position. This 1959 model features the slab rosewood fingerboard and single ply white pickguard that were introduced in that year. It's a completely original guitar that's never seen modification or repair of any kind, and it's in excellent condition.

The guitar weighs in at a scant 6.2 lbs and plays beautifully. It's been set-up in shop with 12's for fat tone and a tighter feel on that short scale neck, but we can string it with 11's at the buyer's request. Original frets play well with some playwear, fretboard is level, and electronics are perfect.

The original hardshell case is in excellent condition as well.
