1973 Fender Precision Bass
A road worn 45 year old blond Fender P-Bass that's got huge vibe and some stellar vintage P-bass tone. It's a great looking machine, and plays easily with a fresh set-up care of Folkway, and has a to-die-for neck feel.
Ash body with worn original finish and similarly worn maple neck. Original frets are showing their age but remain usable and have been dressed; original tuners work well. The pickup is original, but the balance of the wire harness is newer and the pickguard is a replacement. Original factory routes are unmodified, and there are no surprises under the pickguard. Badass bridge installed, which is a nice bonus on a player's bass. Intonation is excellent, and the mass of the bridge adds some sustain and fundamental to the notes.
