Waterloo WL-S Deluxe

The Collings-built Waterloo WL-S Deluxe is designed and styled after the Oscar Schmidt Stellas built in the 1920's. It's a remarkable guitar in many ways – from its incredibly rich and expressive tone to its finely detailed accents.

The small guitar measures 14” across the lower bout and is roughly as large as a Martin size 0, but with shallower sides and a shorter body. Built with cherry back and sides a ladder-braced spruce top and finished with a hand-rubbed varnish, the WL-S is responsive, warm, and present, and offers the best attributes of a small-body guitar without leaving you wanting. The guitar is a shop fingerstyle favourite.

Soft V neck carve with rosewood fingerboard, 24-7/8” scale, 1-3/4” nut width and slotted headstock. Ebony pyramid bridge with cut-through bone saddle and 2-3/8 string spacing. Gorgeous and intricate wooden purflings, rosette, and back strip; ivoroid bindings, acrylic floral fingerboard inlays.
