Taylor 616ce
Taylor's 616ce defines the new sound of maple. In the design of this guitar, Taylor's Andy Powers worked from the ground up to create an instrument that brings forward all of the sonic goodness of North American maple and torrefied Sitka spruce. The guitar features a unique back brace layout that helps create the guitar's impressive richness, volume and sustain; protein based glues and an ultra-thin gloss finish minimize tonal dampening. And Taylor's “Brown Sugar” back and sides stain brings out the deep figure in the maple.
The GS body is bold and powerful, but still retains impressive treble response, and the Venetian cutaway is classy and timeless. The guitar features grained ivoroid appointments; ebony fingerboard, bridge, headstock front and rear overlays, bindings and pickguard. It's also stage-ready with Taylor's great sounding ES2 pickup system.
