2013 Taylor 514e Fall Limited
One of the most exciting fall limited models of 2013, the 514e-FLTD features a European spruce top, Adriondack spruce CV bracing, quilted mahogany back and sides, rosewood bound body and soundhole, boxwood rosette and fingerboard inlays, and figured mahogany top trim. It's a gorgeous guitar, and offers uncompromised depth and tonal complexity.
Fitted with Taylor's new acoustic ES2 system, the 514e sounds breathtakingly good plugged in, too. The new pickup features sensors mounted behind the bridge saddle that have a significantly more breathy sound than the original ES system. The guitar has a very transparent plugged-in sound, and does well in capturing the subtle nuances of your playing style.
With its combination of European spruce, CV bracing, and South American mahogany, the guitar has a sweet but powerful voice with piles of headroom, musical and rich mid range, and a strong fundamental presence.
The guitar is in as-new condition, without any finish wear or fretwear. Fresh set-up by us, with Elixer's new HD strings.
