2004 Taylor 614ce-L7 Summer NAMM
Serial # 20040607140. Introduced at the summer 2004 NAMM show as one of that year's Fall Limited models, the 614ce-L7 features Grand Auditorium body of figured maple and Sitka spruce, tastefully appointed with koa binding, back wedge, and bound soundhole, cocobolo rosette and matching bold top purflings. Gloss-finished maple neck with koa-bound ebony fingerboard and matching headstock.
A very attractive guitar, with 600 series pearl fingerboard inlays, gold hardware, soft Venetian cut-away, and no pickguard. The finish and woods have aged to a warm golden hue, and the guitar is in perfect condition, without any finish blemishes or structural flaws. Frets show almost no wear, and we've just set the guitar up.
A particularly rich sounding maple Taylor, the guitar has a round and even tone with excellent string balance and power. A lovely guitar.
With original hardshell case
