Pre-War Single-0 Mahogany - Distress Level 1.5

Pre-War's Single-0 Mahogany is a bold and wide-open small-body guitar with surprising bass-end presence and plenty of power. Something of a secret weapon, the Single 0 has much of the volume of a Dreadnought, but with power in frequency ranges a D-sized guitar only dreams of achieving. With your eyes closed, you might think you're playing a 000 sized guitar, but for the treble response that is full and amazingly robust. There's nothing thin or wiry about this one either, in fact it's quite a bit darker than most any other 0-sized guitar we can remember, which is something we were quite excited to hear at first strum.

The guitar takes a firm flat-pick really well, loves single-note melody and arpeggiated chords, and is of-course right at home with fingerstyle.

Torrefied Adirondack spruce top with scalloped bracing, 13.5” wide 0-size body, mahogany back and sides. Ebony fingerboard and bridge, aged lacquer and hardware with level 1 distress, Waverly tuners. Nut width of 1-3/4”, 2-5/16” string spread at the bridge, and 24.9” scale length. Softened V neck carve that's distinctly C shaped in the first position.
